CASTAWAY // ANTHONY PASQUA

I'm stuck in this small town.
Dull and vibrant
contradiction of itself.
Skin cancer or drowning:
the only things worthwhile to do.

Traveling down 70 doing 65,
passing life and death on the way
thinking about nothing to pass the time.
Nirvana's on the radio.

Avoiding blown out tires like people,
solitude is friendly.
Lights in the shape of an eagle and the smell of dirty factories fill my car.
I hit the mountain at high speed,
roads so narrow I feel like death's around the corner.

Turn off the T.V. and go outside,
spark the light and smoke the nail.
Babbling children outside are annoying.
I hate this shit.
