PROTESTERS PICKET AGAINST DIHYDROGEN MONOXIDE IN CITY'S WATER SYSTEM // MORGAN TEMPLE

MANITOU SPRINGS, CO- Protestors held signs claiming "Down with dihydrogen monoxide", as they marched through the streets yesterday evening. Hundreds of locals gathered in support of the rally to ban dihydrogen monoxide from the city’s water system. Dihydrogen monoxide has many dangerous properties according to the protestors, including accelerated corrosion, and they say it can even cause severe burns if it becomes hot enough.

The leader of the protest, Willow Platter, stated the importance of the issue, "We live in a world where chemicals are in everything! We as people cannot stand by as the government sits back and lets chemicals be a part of our water supply. Keep water pure, down with dihydrogen monoxide!"

Platter, as well as many of the other protestors appreciate living an organic lifestyle and pride themselves on eating only natural things. They plan on taking their issue outside of the community and hope to successfully ban dihydrogen monoxide throughout the country.
